Campfire Stories with Haunted History BC 2025-2026

Award-winning authors and storytellers Gina Armstrong and Victoria Vancek are hitting the road! Join us as we visit all 25 Fraser Valley Regional Library branches, sharing spine-tingling tales and captivating campfire stories in a special storytelling series you won’t want to miss.


Ghostly Encounters Halloween

Saturday, 25 October 5:00pm - 7:30pm Fee $35

Just in time for spooky season!  This spine-tingling event unveils real-life, documented supernatural evidence, from shadowy figures caught on camera to hearing mysterious phantom sounds. Participants will also be able to try paranormal research equipment firsthand!

Museum After Dark

Sunday, 26 October 12:00pm - 6:00pm - Free, admission by donation

Come find us at the Pitt Meadows Museum!  Free, fun-filled drop-in program for the whole family.  Kids that complete the Haunted Objects scavenger hunt will take home a fun treat bag - including a 24-piece Halloween-themed jigsaw puzzle and some spooky treats!

Royal City Literary Arts Society - POEtic Justice Tellers of Short Stories

Halloween may be behind us, but the spirits are far from silent!  They're stirring once again, and we're heading back to Phoenix Rising Emporium for another spine-tingling paranormal investigation - if you dare to join us!  This time, we have 2 time slots, so double the chances to uncover what lurks beyond the veil.

Register through the Coquitlam Heritage Museum.  Step into the shadows of winter with award-winning BC authors and historians Gina and Victoria of Haunted History BC as they share chilling tales from their debut creative non-fiction book, Ghost Stories for Winter.  Gather 'round the fireplace for an atmospheric evening that blends history and hauntings.  Don't miss this literary event - perfect for curious minds and lovers of local lore.
