Campfire Stories with Haunted History BC 2025-2026

Award-winning authors and storytellers Gina Armstrong and Victoria Vancek are hitting the road! Join us as we visit all 25 Fraser Valley Regional Library branches, sharing spine-tingling tales and captivating campfire stories in a special storytelling series you won’t want to miss.

Hosted by the Fraser Valley Regional Library

British Columbia storytellers Gina Armstrong and Victoria Vancek share eerie tales from the haunted Gold Rush Trail to legends of Sasquatch, sea serpents, lizard men, and other mysterious beings. Under a canopy of stars and the flicker of faux campfire light, guests are transported into a magical realm where folklore meets history. This immersive experience blends spine-tingling storytelling with educational intrigue—perfect for curious minds aged 12 and up. Dare to uncover what the past has left behind… if you’re not afraid of what might be watching.
